What is NDIS?

NDIS - stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme, which is a Federal Government-funded scheme that provides financial support to the eligible Australian disabilities such as physical, intellectual, sensory, cognitive or psychosocial (arising from a mental health condition).

Who is Eligible for NDIS plan?

The NDIS is implemented by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), which determines whether someone is eligible to access financial help from the NDIS. There are some basic criteria to meet to be eligible for NDIS plan, which includes age under 65, type of disability and Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
